Maintenance Planning and Scheduling has taken a great amount of attention in the past few decays to help improve asset maintenance productivity and asset performance. Hence, it is essential for any leading Organization to continue its effort to further develop and improve the day to day planning and scheduling activities, work processes and working culture.
The main objective of this course is to explain the planning and scheduling functions and how they can be part of an overall Operational Excellence model and Asset Reliability systems. Planners and Schedulers will strengthen their understanding of their important functions beyond the routine CMMS Work Order daily transactions. This will be achieved by explaining a typical step-by-step work process of the Planning and Scheduling of Maintenance Work Orders. The course will outline an integrated end to end work process covering Planning, Scheduling, Execution as well as Asset Reliability functions.
Attendants will also take a closer look at the Maintenance Performance Metrics and how these metrics can gage the health of the Maintenance planning and execution functions which in turn will enable the Maintenance Organization for a continuous improvement cycle.
